Campaign Revamp

How many simultaneous campaigns is the norm?

I think for the newbie it has to be one. For me, it has to be one.

Right now I have one campaign in the sub-niche of weight loss and health. It is a handful enough, and with my a.d.d., it is more than enough to keep my attention for a long time.

So with this one campaign, I have done a lot (for me).

Here's what I've done:
  • Written 20 Ezine articles
  • Created 3 YouTube videos
  • Wrote at least 20 other articles for other article sites
  • Set up a landing page with an email sign-up list, offering a free PDF (To me, the landing page is the best looking one I have done)
With all these being done, I average almost 1 new visitor per day. I have 1 subscriber on my list.

There's really only two options here: either 1.) quit or 2.) try harder

So I've chosen number two. Plus, I am doing a bit of a revamp of my actual emails that I've sent out. I'm promoting a product and I barely have tried to sell it outside of a few mentions of it in two emails.

The past two weeks have been pretty terrible in terms of my work ethic. I finished working on this campaign and set back, thinking the money was going to roll in. It didn't. Can't say I'm shocked. But now it's time to move on.

So this week I am going to complete this entire process and then move on. If I don't get it done, it will still be finished. Period.

Well, this wasn't a very funny article. Eh, can't be funny all the time.

A Tough Go of It

Start, stop.  Motivated, deflated.  Confident, lost.

This journey has been absolutely fucking crazy.  I imagine one day that I could write a book about how completely odd it is that I became a success, because my approach is so weird and off the wall and I am absolutely the opposite of the type of person who is successful at this.

I have terrible focus.  I've got like 3 million goals.  I have committment issues.  I spread myself too thin.

But yet I've learned how to get here.  I've learned to stick with it.  I have learned that you have to look stupid for a bit before you are called a pro.  I've always learned that there is nothing you can't do.  Period.

I don't care about the arguments saying that there are limits on what we're capable of, or how certain people just "have it" and I don't.  Let's stop debating.

Instead, I would like to recognize that if you really want something, you will get it.  You can achieve success at whatever thing you want, but you have to have that burning desire.

So, maybe I am having a tough go of it right now.  But I have enough desire to see it through.

Now for a Quick Introduction...

Whatupppppp????

My name is Andy. Nice to meet you.

Along with about a million other people on this internet thing, I am what you call an "Internet Marketer". Hopefully you know this already, so I am going to skip the definitions of that.

I've set up this blog because I'm the PHATtest IMer in the game (like Flava Flav over there) and you will be interested to know so.

I have been up in this game for a little over two years and I have had zero sales. ZERO SALES.

So it's kind of a joke, I'm part of that group of people who have had zero success.

Go ahead, laugh at it. I know I do.

Because I'll get it soon enough.

And that's the point of this blog. Also these points:
  • To document.
  • To learn.
  • To connect.
  • To prove all the haters wrong.
  • To stay current on all things IM.
  • To help give back.
  • To have fun.
Seriously, that's really it.

So if you want to connect with me, feel free to leave comments and follow me on twitter or sign up for email updates of this very blog.

So yeah, that is me and now we're friends (kinda). Look forward to having ya as a reader.
